PREVENTION PROCEDURE


Hygiene plan after each check-out

 

  • Washing and disinfecting surfaces, ensuring control and prevention of infections and resistance to antimicrobials.

  • Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and objects in common use (including light switches, door handles, cabinet handles).

  • Preference for wet cleaning, over dry cleaning and the use of vacuum cleaner.

  • Frequent air renewal in the accommodation.

  • For the floor, washing is performed with hot water and detergent, followed by disinfection with a bleach solution diluted in water.

  • In sanitary facilities, washing is carried out with industrial grade detergent and disinfectant.

  • Specific care for changing bed linen and cleaning rooms, privileging two spaced intervals and with adequate protection.

  • The removal of bed linen and towels is done without shaking, rolling it outwards, without touching the body and transporting it directly to the laundry services.

  • The washing of bed linen and towels is carried out by specialized companies, by machine and at high temperatures (around 60ºC).

  • Replacement every pillow under cover after each checkout.

  • All employees have specific training in respiratory and hygiene procedures   

  • Action protocol defined in cases of suspected infection.
